Love Her Wild is a nonprofit inclusive women’s adventure community, based in the UK. We believe outdoor adventures boost well-being, increase confidence and drive a passion for conservation.
The Love Her Wild community provides opportunities, support and funding to make the outdoors more accessible. We’ve taken thousands of women on adventures from first-time mountain hikes to world-first overseas expeditions!

I’m Bex Band, founder of Love Her Wild.
The best thing that ever happened to me was going on an adventure! It improved my physical and mental wellbeing. It boosted my confidence. Gave me some of the greatest friends, while also instilling a passion for protecting the environment.
It wasn’t until my mid-20s that I started going on adventures and it wasn’t easy at first. I found the outdoors to be male-dominant, competitive and judgemental. I felt I didn’t belong. So I set up a women’s adventure community, Love Her Wild, to create a different kind of space. One that was kind, supportive and focused on having fun, not simply reaching a goal.
Love Her Wild has grown to a friendly community of over 30,000 collective members. We connect women locally (in the UK) and organise expeditions all over the world. If you are new to our community, here’s how to get involved:
– Join our main private Facebook group as well as your Local Group (run by our team of volunteer Local Wilders) where you can find meet ups in your area
– If you are ready for an adventure, see what events and expeditions we have coming up
– See if you are eligible for a LHW grant
– You can support our community by buying a sustainable T-shirt in our shop or by joining our tribe of wonderful LHW Patron’s
– Make sure you are following to keep up-to-date with LHW HQ news: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and our newsletter
– Don’t miss the chance to be part of our epic expedition this year – the Women’s End2End relay
And finally…….A huge welcome to our community! We know it can be nerve-wracking joining one of our adventures for the first time. Our leaders work hard though to ensure everyone is met with a friendly face and that no one is left behind. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I look forward to meeting you on an adventure soon!
