YHA Dartmoor Outdoors extravaganza

Are you wanting to get outdoors more but for whatever reason camping isn’t an option for you? OR Would you love to broaden your outdoor horizons but for financial reasons finding accommodation away from home isn’t on the cards right now?
Well, we have the perfect event for you! In collaboration with a grant from the youth hostel association, we have managed to get FREE spaces in the YHA Dartmoor hostel for 2 NIGHTS!!!!! Where we will spend time enjoying some awesome walks in the local area, decompressing in the wonderland that is Dartmoor, trying a few other adventurous activities, and in general just letting the wilderness take over.
We will get accommodation free from YHA, but everything else is as with our normal events so we are each responsible for our own food, transport (if anyone’s happy to lift share do shout!), and safety. We will have to limit numbers depending on how much funding we get from the YHA, I’ll select who can come based on a lottery (have a post in discussion with more info).
I’m super excited for this, it’s been a mad rush getting the funding together and it’s still not 100% so do hold that in your minds, I just wanted to get the event out before it was too late and we’d all made other plans! If the funding does fall through, we will still do something in Gloucestershire I guarantee!
