Night walk!

Join us for a night-walk on the open spaces of Mawr. We’ll walk out to the trig point in the twilight, and (hopefully!) see the last of the sunset over the estuary in the distance. Walk back under the stars!
Total distance is about 3 miles and the walking is generally easy underfoot.
Bring a headtorch, and we can decide on the night whether we want to use them. It’s only two nights after full moon so you may be surprised how much natural light there actually is. Listen out for owls and other nocturnal birds and just enjoy this fabulous bit of countryside.
There is a very short stretch of road walking at the beginning/end, on a quiet country lane, so high-vis for that stretch is recommended.  If you don’t have a headtorch, don’t worry – we’ll have some spares that can be borrowed.
The parking is limited at the start point but there is plenty of parking in Ammanford, which is a few minutes drive away, so we could arrange car-sharing from there if needed.
