Introduction to adventure camping – Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Women’s Adventure Group (Love Her Wild) will be hosting TWO of our hugely successful (some say life changing!) adventure camping weekend in 2022.
We are now open to applications for the first weekend on the 7th-8th May 2022.
Fancy trying ‘adventure’ camping? Adventure camping is our name for any camping where you are carrying your own kit – on foot, by bike, in a canoe etc.
If you’ve never camped before but fancy giving it a go then we have the perfect weekend for you! Our volunteers will talk you through what you need to take, explain the skills you’ll need, loan you any kit you don’t have and then join you on your first camping trip. We will be walking 3 miles to our ‘wild-ish’ campsite, carrying all our camping kit. We’ll enjoy a night under the stars, then on the Sunday morning there will be the option of taking a swim in the river before walking back to the start (another 3 miles).
