A wild swim, cake and natter

A Sunday morning river swim to waken the senses. The water temperature will be cold so make sure you bring lots of layers to change into after the swim, a warm hat and gloves, a mat or towel to change on so your feet are off the floor, plus a hot drink. I will bring the cake!
Please ensure you bring a bright coloured hat to wear in the water so that you are easy to spot. A tow float is also a good idea so that you are visible and have somewhere to put your car keys and phone (as long as it is waterproof). Finally, a folding chair so that you have somewhere to sit to enjoy your cake and natter.
Location: turn off the A329 at the sign pointing towards St Bartholomew’s Church and The Racing and River Boat museum. The Sat Nav may say it is a one-way road, but it isn’t. There is parking on the left where we will meet before walking down to the beach.
