Win a place on Paddle Pickup; Length of Wales

We are really excited to announce that a sponsored place has become available on Leg 2 of our Paddle Pickup; Length of Wales expedition!

Paddle Pickup is a Love Her Wild expedition put together by adventurers Bex Band and Erin Bastian (who runs a kayaking company called Evoke). They both wanted to do something about the increase in plastic pollution in the waters so turned to what they know best – adventure.

Love Her Wild is a community inspiring and providing opportunities to help women find more adventure in their lives. If you haven’t already….check out our Facebook group!

Leaving in May, a team of women will be attempting a world first, kayaking the full length of Wales, over 220km. Along the way, the team will be collecting plastic pollution from the waterways and raising awareness on this important conservation issue.

Find out more about the expedition or how you can join here.

Win a place!

You can win a fully sponsored place on Leg 2 of the Paddle Pickup; Length of Wales expedition. No kayaking experience is necessary but you do need to have a basic level of fitness so that you can complete long days on the water and camping each night under expedition conditions. More important than that though is teamwork, a willingness to get stuck-in and a passion for conservation issues.

You must be available on the following dates and able to get yourself to and from the start and finish line for leg 2:

 Leg 2: 4th June – 8th June
Start & finish:  Gnosall – Worcester

Food, insurance and personal gear is not included as part of this opportunity. For more details on the expedition please check out the event page.
