Meet our Willow & Beech Patrons

Hilda-May – My personal adventure story started with triathlons in 2010. I’ve always loved the outdoors and triathlon was the vehicle for spending more time outside generally swimming, running and cycling. I’m now looking for adventures that demand less of a competitive edge and allow me to explore life and find myself.
Claire – in my 40’s always loved being outdoors, only recently been brave enough to venture out on my own, thanks to the love her wild community for giving me the confidence! I bought a kayak last year, looking forward to getting out on the water more this year
Jo – I rediscovered adventure in my late 40’s taking up long distance walking and kayaking (one that splits in half and fits in my car!), do Yoga with Adriene daily, walk and wild camp and have just started C25K. I work for a children’s hospice and have a husband, dog and 17 year old daughter.
Sara – I’m a 50 year old Yank chic with a desk job – late to the adventure game. I’m doing my best to make up for my tardiness with the extent of my obsession. I look forward to meeting some of the Love Her Wild crew one day soon!
Catherine – I’m a nature loving, foraging, hiking, Occupational Therapist. I love being in nature for myself and with the young people I work with. Claire – I am South Shropshire based. Whilst I may live most of my greatest adventures vicariously, I know too well that the best version of me can always be found outdoors.
Emily – I’m a mother of 3 in Southern California. This is us in Mexico. My day job is a real estate litigation attorney and my passion is writing. My current project is a show called She’s Myself.
Heather – My parents instilled in me the value of the great outdoors from a very young age, and I do my utmost as an adult to be adventurous, and hopefully inspire others to explore what mother nature has to offer – bringing me physical and mental gains each time I do! Kate – When it comes to the outdoors I’m up for anything that gets me out – running, climbing, surfing, hiking. I’m not fussy and will give anything a go. When I’m not out and about I work making documentaries about the planet for the telly box.
Kath – An adventurer of the outdoors, of life and of learning with a lifelong love of being in nature, travelling and all things in and out of the water. Lou – Hey all, Lou here. Im an open, outdoorsy, free spirited, vegan with an intrinsically adventurous spirit and compassion for other humans.I love travel, especially that involving the natural world. I live with a constant ear worm, and sing incessantly. I laugh/smile a lot and think genuineness is the single best way to connect with other people.
Louise – I’m a 40 something woman married to my partner Rachael. I’m half way through a 10 stone weight loss journey and loving how much more walking I can do! Aim this year is to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and bag a Munro – Ben Nevis in September.
Sarah – I totally love the outdoors. Walking through the woodlands, up a mountain, or along the coast is the most enjoyable thing to me. My aim is to gain a better balance of my time so that I can try many more pursuits, and to encourage others to experience the things that I enjoy too.
