Wild swim in the Wye

Swim season is here (just!) 😁

We will meet in the Layby about the football club in Stowfield, which is here –

and swim just below the black bridge.

If you are new to ‘wild’ swimming I would advise waiting till later in the year once the water is a bit warmer!

The water temperature is still cool, so I would advise a wetsuit if it’s your first swim in a while!

The site I usually swim from is down a little path down the bank which is a little loose and needs a bit of care. I would advise shoes for accessing the water – it’s over a jumble of rough concrete blocks. I’ll add photos to the event later.
