Stroud Sunset stumble
A very informal evening walk around the always lovely Rodborough common. Depending on pace we’ll cover about 5-6km. We’ll end at the Prince Albert for those still feeling social. Feel free to join for just the walk, or just the pub. I won’t judge either way!
Rodborough Common is an incredibly beautiful spot and if we’re lucky with the weather we’ll get the evening sun over the river Severn and can debate which Welsh hills can be spotted.

The factual stuff…
Meet at the community hall for a 7pm start. There’s good, free parking and bike parking there – it’s a narrow lane but perfectly accessible. If you’re coming by public transport it’s about a 20-25 minute walk from the station.

It’s pretty much all off road walking, but not too challenging under foot. You’ll probably be fine in decent trainers if it hasn’t rained so much. There’s some steep bits – that’s unavoidable round here I’m afraid.
Friendly dogs would be welcome. But please note this is a popular dog walking spot so you won’t be alone! The much loved common cows won’t be out yet, but there may be horses around.
The (also dog friendly) pub at the end is the Prince Albert. It’s a tiny walk along the lane back to the car park, so totally optional whether you join us or head straight home. It is a very good pub mind. Been on the telly and everything.

I want this to be as inclusive as possible and can adapt the route to suit the pace of the group. But any questions please ask.
