St Briavels and Slade brook circular

5mile (8km) walk starting at st Briavels. Then walking down to Mork. Crossing the ford, then walking back up following Slade Brook.

A mixture of paths, woodlands and fields.

Fantastic views from St Briavels.

Slade Brook has the longest series of Tufa dams in the uk (the longest above ground). At the end we can sit in the moat of the castle and have a picnic or a drink (the local shop sells sandwiches and cakes)

This is quite an easy walk. Underfoot can be a bit rocky and a bit muddy in places. There are about 5 stiles. We will probably be walking through sheep at one point.
