Panoption Walk #2 The Atom and Wycollar
This is a lovely walk from Ball Grove park to the Atom panopticon and back via the pretty village of Wycollar.
The walk is approximately 10km/6 miles and will take us about 2.5-3hours to complete. it’s mostly flat except for the climb to the Atom itself but don’t worry we’ll go as slowly as necessary for everyone.
There are a few wet and muddy sections so please wear appropriate footwear and warm/waterproof clothing. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch if the weather is fine, otherwise there’s a cafe near the end of the walk.
Parking is at the free car park at Winewall. The postcode is for the Cotton Tree pub but the car park is on the left just before it.
