Orienteering
Fancy trying your hand at orienteering? We will e trying our hand at one of the courses from the Lodge Forest Visitor’s Centre!
Orienteering is a fun navigation challenge where you navigate to check points using a map and compass. There are three levels of courses with different levels of difficulty, and we will decide what level best suits the group on the day. If you want to build skills and confidence in your navigation this is the perfect challenge for you!
Beginners to both navigation and orienteering are welcome!
We will be meeting for lunch around 1pm beforehand if you want to join us for a picnic lunch or buy something from the café!
Don’t want the day to end? We will be running and walking meet-up in the morning. Full details here: https://fb.me/e/6MmJ3BY7f
Parking is available at the Visitors Centre for a charge (£5 per day) and in Aberfoyle. There are regular busses to Aberfoyle if you want to arrive by public transport or feel free to ask in the group about lift shares!
