Join us for a ramble around East Meon on the 23rd January, meeting at 10:30!
Experience the beautiful area of the Meon Valley situated within the South Downs National Park. This walk starts in the Norman town of East Meon and will follow a section of the South Downs Way. With the opportunity to improve your navigation skills included along the way.
As always, welcome to those who have just joined LHW, want to meet some like minded women, make some new friends and of course, enjoy our beautiful surroundings – everyone is welcome!
Things to consider:
– You do not need to be super fit or speedy but should be able to walk at least 5miles on hilly sometimes steep terrain
– The ground may be uneven, wet and muddy, please bring suitable footwear and waterproofs
– It may be cold and windy as some areas are exposed so hats, gloves and layers are recommended
– You are welcome to bring a snack and drink as expect to be walking for 3-4hours
– We all support each other and plans may change to suit the needs of the weather/group. Please bring a positive, flexible mindset!
