Multi Region LHW Campout
Join us for a weekend camping trip organised collaboratively between Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk/Suffolk and Nottingham/Derbyshire local Love Her Wild groups.
Our volunteers have a secured a field at Gateham Grange on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border of the Peak District. We plan to do various activities including some local walks, morning Tai Chi, workshops and a fire feast! We will be asking for small contributions of food to share, all of which will be vegan/vegetarian to support the LHW ethos of sustainability. But feel free to bring your own if preferred.
The camp out will be for 2 nights priced at a bargain £9 per person, cash to be paid on arrival. The facilities are basic but we will have the field to ourselves which will be great! Have a look at the website for more details about location and venue https://www.gatehamgrange.co.uk/
We’d like to offer this opportunity to all Love Her Wild members, but particularly encourage those who are new to camping, we may well have some kit we can lend to help you out if there is anything you don’t have. So please don’t be shy if it’s not something you’ve done before, or you’ve never camped in a group before. There will be plenty of friendly Local Wilders there to make you feel welcome!
