Mugdock and Craigallian Loch Circular Walk
This is a circular walk starting and ending at Milngavie train station. The walk is 12km and will take around 4-5hours to walk including a stop for lunch (please bring your own packed lunch). The walk takes in sections of both the West Highland Way and the John Muir Way as well as parts of Mugdock Country Park. It will be mostly flat and on a mixture of paths, tracks and minor roads.
There are regular trains to Milngavie and tis walk is timed to start after the arrival of the 10.08am train from Glasgow Central. There is some carparking at the station or about 1km away at Mugdock Country Park too.
Our events are open and inclusive so please don’t hesitate to join even if you think you are a slow walker or are worried about not knowing anyone. Most people arrive not knowing anyone else!
Please come prepared for all weathers (it is march in Scotland after all!) and remember that participating in a Love Her Wild local meet up is entirely at your own risk and it is your responsibility to ensure that your fitness level mean this event within your capabilities.
