Kendal Mountain Tour 2022 – Greater Manchester
Fancy a night at the cinema watching adventure films?!?
Kendal Mountain Film Tour is coming to Waterside Plaza in Trafford on Thursday 21st April 2022.
Join us for an evening celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the team behind Kendal Mountain Festival.
You’ll be guided through a curation of short films from across the globe, told by a unique collection of travellers, athletes, activists and creatives.
Alongside the collection of adventure films, will be a talk from paraclimber, award-winner and all-round inspiration Anoushé Husain. Anoushé was born with her right arm missing below the elbow, is a cancer survivor, a Muslim who wears a headscarf, and she lives with invisible conditions. When she’s not in the office, she trains as a paraclimber and uses her voice to talk about and challenge barriers and self-limiting beliefs. Anoushé doesn’t let the issues she faces prevent her from working hard and achieving goals.
We will meet at 7.00pm inside the plaza, the films start at 7.30pm and will last 2.5 hours including interval.
