Introduction to Map Reading and Navigation (Pembrokeshire)

Join Helen for a fun an relaxed day learning about map reading and navigation.

You’ll learn how to read OS maps, how to locate yourself on a map, how to follow routes and how to plan your own walks.

We’ll be walking on footpaths, coast paths, open access land, farm land and some footpaths through town. The views are fantastic and we’ll be stopping lots to practice navigation, take photos and have snacks and drinks.

It’s not a challenging route but you do need to be comfortable climbing over stiles and walking about 5.5 miles (spread out over the whole day – it’s slow paced).
