Forest of Dean Dark ride

Let’s Ride!!

We’ll meet down by the waters edge at The Forest of Dean Stone Firms ready to ride at 7pm. Sunset is at 7:30pm, so we’ll be riding as it gets dark!

You’ll need –

a bike (MTB or hybrid/tourer)

a helmet

bike lights or head torch

warm layers for the weather

The route is a touch over 9 miles. We will follow the family cycle trail clockwise with a long but gentle up hill to start the ride. There is one steeper downhill section right near the end of the ride which you can walk down if you wish.

Just a reminder this is a meetup led by volunteers for like minded people. Therefore you must be competent in your own ability to ride and your own level of fitness. You will be responsible for your own health and safety. We would also ask that if you have any signs of illness that you do not attend on the day.
