Dumgoyne Hill Walk

Join us on the autumn equinox weekend for a hike up Dumgoyne- small but steep, with views across to the south of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond on a clear day!

The walk is less than 5km, so a short one, but be warned it is steep!! We will be stopping for lots of breaks though to admire the view on the way up- the uphill to the 427m summit is well worth the effort, with views back across Glasgow and across the Campsies. 

There is a clear path all the way up which can get a wee bit muddy and eroded after rain, so bring sensible shoes, along with snacks- and waterproofs but fingers crossed the weather will be nice!

We will meet outside the Glengoyne distillery to start the walk. There is some car parking in a layby just past the distillery, and the X10 stops right outside the distillery itself. The 12 noon start is to coincide with the bus times from Glasgow.
