Dragon Boat Session
One of our lovely members, Sheila Greenwood, has very kindly organised this event for us.
More info about dragon boating can be found here:

We’ll meet at 11.15, parking at the lodge at the boathouse (directions will be given closer to the event), for a safety demonstration and to sign a brief disclaimer. There are facilities to make drinks and if anyone would like to bring lunch for afterwards we can sit out there too.
After the safety briefing we’ll walk across to the docks and get kitted out with buoyancy aids and paddles then onto the water for about an hour’s paddle round the docks.
Please wear sensible clothing (waterproofs if necessary) and trainers. The session will go ahead if it’s raining but not if it’s very windy. Please bring a change of clothes just in case the boat capsizes (very unlikely!) but you may get splashed by fellow paddlers.
The cost for joining this session is £10 payable to Sheila who will give her bank details to those of you who would like to join us.
We need a minimum of 10 members for this session to run and there is a maximum of 14 people.
