Dip in the dark

Do you fancy a dip in the dark? 

Cheesden Mill is a beautiful place to have a dip especially in the dark. There’s a short walk from the lay bay to the mill over uneven terrain, it may be very muddy so please wear appropriate footwear (no flip flops). Some of the terrain is a little steep and rocky but will take our time.

There may be other people here when we dip but fingers crossed we get the water to ourselves.

We will meet at the Lay by opposite Owd Betts Pub (Edenfield Rd, Rochdale OL12 7TY) at 7.15pm.

Sorry no dogs allowed to this event. 

If you have a head torch please bring it as it will be extremely dark. You will need swimwear, lots of warm clothing, waterproof jacket and a hot drink.

If you have a change of plan and are unable to make it on the day please can you let me know so we are not waiting on the day for anyone that cant attend, thank you.

Just a reminder this is a meetup led by volunteers for like minded people. Therefore you must be competent in your own ability to walk/swim and your own level of fitness. You will be responsible for your own health and safety. We would also ask that if you have any signs of illness that you do not attend on the day.
