Dalmeny Estate Circular Walk
Join us for a walk in the Dalmeny Estate! This is an 8km walk on good paths and trails starting and ending at Dalmeny train station. The walk will be on a mix of well surfaced paths, minor roads and gravel trails and has a few small hills. It should be suitable for walkers of all levels and will be taken at a slow pace. I expect the walk to take around three hours. If anyone is joining me from Edinburgh I will be on the 12.46 train from Waverly Station.
Recommended kit list
• Comfortable warm quick drying clothing (jeans not recommended)
• Waterproof walking boots or shoes
• Hat, gloves and scarf
• Waterproof trousers and jacket
• Extra warm layer (eg fleece or down jacket)
• Water bottle
• Snacks
• Headtorch
• Charged mobile phone (and somewhere waterproof to put it!)

This is a dog friendly walk, and you are welcome to bring dogs but please note as we may be passing though farmers feilds and minor roads they will need to be on lead at times.
