Causeway coast cliff walk
Dunseverick to Giants Causeway π£
Start point: Dunseverick Castle π° There’s a carpark and a lay-byΒ
Time π: Arrive before 10am for a 10am start
Distance π§: 9.5km out and back
Option 1 is walk out and back
option 2 get the bus back from Giants Causeway to Dunseverick.
It’s your choice and can be made on the day. I will be walking back with any members that want to.Β
The walk πΆπ»ββοΈ: Leaving Dunseverick we will follow the cliff path round to Giants Causeway enjoying the views to Donegal and Scotland. There is no rush we will stick together if anyone needs a break or wants to stop for pics. We will have a packed lunch break at the Giants Causeway and soak in the sights (hopefully not soak in the rain π€£). At this point, anyone wanting the bus back will leave here. Anyone wanting to walk back will come with me back along the same route.Β
What to bring π: Clothing must be suitable (no jeans), preferably wear layers, waterproofs, hiking boots, hat, gloves. Water, snacks, packed lunch, something to sit on like a foam mat or a bin bag. A head torch and fully charged phone.Β
Dogs π: Yes dogs welcome. Dogs will need to be on a lead for safety on the cliffs and local live stock. Don’t forget their water, snacks and poop bags.Β
