Camp Out – Whitchurch
Join us for an evening of camping near Whitchurch.
The campsite is called Nature’s Nook – What3words ///interlude.meatball.crucially
The campsite is a rural site on a farm. There are some cows, calves and bulls at the farm, but these will be fenced out of the camping area. There is a flushing toilet and shower, as well as a small kitchenette in a cabin. The cabin also has two beds for anyone that doesn’t want to camp outside. There is plenty of parking near to the camping field and you are welcome to stay in a van if you want. It will cost £10 per person, payable on the day in cash directly to Bryan, the campsite owner.
For those that would like to camp, please reach out if you need to borrow any equipment (e.g. tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag etc), as myself and others will have some spares. Please bring your own food for the weekend.
It will be a relaxed weekend, setting up camp in the afternoon and going for a walk around the nearby Fenn’s, Whixall & Bettisfield Mosses, then returning to camp and a campfire. Other options for activities include bringing your bike (there’s loads of quite lanes etc to cycle on), bringing your stand-up paddle board/kayak/canoe (permit required to paddle on canal) or going to Alderford lake on the Sunday morning for a swim. The walk will be guided, but all other activities are for your own planning/joining up with others who are there.
I will be going from Nantwich if anyone wants a lift. Please share if you are able to car pool. Any questions then please let me know!
