Blackstone Edge Reservoirs and Warland Drains Walk
This is a lovely 8.5(ish) mile circular walk across the moors passing three reservoirs. It should take approx. 4-5 hours so bring some food and drink.
On a fine day the views are beautiful but this will be a weather dependent meet as the moors are unforgiving in bad weather. Please check the event page on the morning of the walk and please wear/bring appropriate warm/waterproof clothing.
There is a parking area just before the White House pub if you’re coming from the Littleborough direction. Please don’t park in the pub car park – they don’t like it! We could go the the pub afterwards for a drink if anyone wants and dogs are welcome on this walk but there may be livestock around.
Finally, please remember that I am a volunteer and this is simply a meet up for like minded people. Those who join are responsible for their own safety.
