Black Mountain mini expedition.

Starting from Dan-yr-Ogof show cave (there is a fee for parking) we will be hiking deep into the moorland to the south of the Black Mountain ridge on Saturday, with a wild camp either in the valley or in the ridge if the weather allows. On Sunday we will follow the Black Mountain ridge back down Fan Hir to return to Dan-yr-Ogof.

Although the whole route is only a little over 12 miles the ground and navigation do make this a walk to take seriously. You will need all your own kit suitable for a mountain camp, and the skills to use it! That includes being able to wild toilet and filter your own water!

Please remember that, like all our events this is NOT a led walk, and we are participating as a group of like minded friends.
