Big Paddle Clean Up – River Wye, Monmouth
Join us in helping protect the Wye from plastic pollution and litter. We’ll be paddling a small section of the Wye at Monmouth on the evening of the 8th June collecting and removing litter from the river and banks.
Don’t have a boat? No problem! We’ll need support on the banks too, so why not join us for a gentle social walk along the river.
If you fancy joining us on the water and bringing your own craft you’ll need to be a competent paddler and must wear a buoyancy aid! We’ll have an option of paddling downstream to Redbook if we have enough evening light (we will arrange shuttles in advance).
We have a couple of spare litter pickers and buckets to collect rubbish. Please bring your own gloves.
We’ll be meeting and parking at Monmouth Rowing Club –
