Love Her Wild Code of Conduct

Love Her Wild is a welcoming, safe, and inclusive community, inspiring connections between people and with nature, where everyone is kind and has fun.

To achieve and build this culture, everyone at Love Her Wild, including staff, volunteers and participants, is asked to follow our code of conduct. 

If you do not follow this then you may be asked to leave the group.

• Be welcoming and inclusive
  Especially to those who are new to LHW. This helps everyone to have fun!

• Be respectful and kind
  We do not tolerate hate speech, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour in our group. This includes offensive comments based on race, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, neurodivergence, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.

• Be encouraging and supportive
  We believe all women deserve an adventure, and that these adventures will look different for everybody.

• Be accountable to yourself and others
  Let others know if your plans change and you can no longer join an event or activity.

• Be positive and resilient
  We want LHW to be a positive and empowering space. It’s not that you can’t ever be negative (!) but try to see things positively when possible and help others to do so.

• Be environmentally considerate
  Take public transport to our events where possible and take care not to litter. Always Follow the Countryside Code or Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

This code of conduct was informed by staff and volunteers at the Wilder Weekend 2025, and we thank everyone for their contributions.
