Bex Band will be teaming up with Sarah Williams to deliver a workshop sharing all they know about building a brand. Both Bex and Sarah started with nothing – no name for themselves, no connections and no budget. But in the space of a few short years have built a life they love and careers stemmed from passions. 

Regardless of what you want to achieve or what you hope to grow, building a brand is key to success. A loyal following really is the most valuable asset you can own!

Bex started out with her blog, The Ordinary Adventurer, in 2016 and a year later founded Love Her Wild. In just over a year, she grew the community to over 5,000. Her blog now receives over 10,000 visitors a month and she regularly delivers talks and sell-out expeditions. She was shortlisted for TGO personality of the year 2017 and made the 2018 San Miguel Rich List.

Sarah started the Tough Girl Podcast in August 2015, it is listened to in 174 countries around the world with over 600,000 downloads. In 2018 Tough Girl won the Women’s Sport Trust, Media Initiative of the Year Award. The Guardian named Sarah as one of the 10 most inspiring contemporary female adventurers to follow.

Between them, Bex and Sarah have a huge insight into the fundamentals of growing a loyal following and can approach this from the angle of both blogger, podcaster and community leader.

Over 2 days we will be covering a number of topics including the following:

Day 1

• Sharing our stories (catalysts and steps)
• Fundamentals of growing a successful brand
• Biggest mistakes when growing a brand
• Building a following
• Social media (focus on Facebook and YouTube)

Day 2

• Maintaining a loyal following
• Social media (focus on Instagram and Twitter)
• Using film to enhance your engagement
• Working with other brands and sponsorship
• The power of collaborations

There will be lots of time for Q&A and a chance for you to share your own projects with the group and to network with the other attendees.

This is going to be a full weekend! But you will leave feeling inspired and equipped to start making the changes you want to see.
